Abstract: Two new ectoparasitic mite species of the families Myobiidae (Prostigmata) and Myocoptidae (Astigmata) are described from Poland: Acanthophthirius (Acanthophthirius) longisetosus sp. nov. from Vespertilio murinus Linnaeus, 1758 (Chiroptera: Vespertilionidae) and Trichoecius blaszaki sp. nov. from Apodemus flavicollis (Melchior, 1834) (Rodentia: Muridae).
