Abstract: A mathematical model for vacuum drop in the form of Bernoulli equation with the assumed constant velocity of ascent of a free bubble was used in determination of optimal air streams to get the minimal vacuum drops. Analysis of these values allowed for determination of supplied air stream corresponding to a given milking speed, depending on tube diameter and the height of liquid rise.
